As some of you are aware BT are running white space trials on the Isle of Bute.
Basical white-space trials are using the Television broadcast antennas to allow WIFI acess on frequencies which are not used for channels. As such signals will travel alot greater distance than the current WIFI offerings.
This will be good news for all our clients on the Isle of Bute as may allow for broadband services to be delivered to the more rural areas of the island and hopefully in the future benefit further afield rural communities in the rest of Argyll and the Highlands.
Being the geeks that we are we would love to hear any feedback for any of our clients on the Isle of Bute who are taking part in the trials, as we would love to know your experiences on sort of speeds are connection reliability
